Hi boaraxa, I have a Keene 4 Ultra mini, the difference between that and the standard 4 is Floatation and sluice box. The standard has 4 pontoons the mini 2. The sluice on the standard is a 3 stage sluice, (has under & over riffles ) and is much longer, that is why extra floatation required. The mini has a shorter sluice that is not 3 stage. For me the unit is fine for a recreational dredge, it suits me and the locations i use it. Some of the USA dredgers dont like them in fast water or large rivers. So it depends were you are going to use it.
