A young guy who had never really dredged before decided to lease a couple of kilometers of river from us went and bought himself a dredge and took it to his part of the claim to give it a run and to find out how it worked. He was in the middle of the river below the Owen tavern 50 mtrs upstream from the Owen river and ran it till he ran out of petrol. He said he put three litres in the tank and was cleaning the dredge to take home and saw some gold in the riffles, so kept all what was in the riffles and ran it through his gold wheel and this was the result. The gold looks real good has flakes but also a lot of pieces that have not been flattened and coming from a part of the river that should been unlikely have gold, was a bonus for him, as he now has proof that he is in a very likely place. I'm really happy for him as he is so keen.Cheers, Addergram
