I have partnered with National Gold in Wewack, PNG. I spent 3 months prospecting and making agreement with local landowner to allow us to dredge with National Gold Machines. Above the area of the waterfall I purchased 6 and 4 gram nuggets that were panned on the riverbank. I tested with a small highbanker from National Gold and found huge flakes in all the banks of the river. I am returning to the location with the full approval of the landowner in September 2017. We need honest folks who would like to partner with us to reap the glory of nature there.

Interesting, Portrait Painter. I worked for several years in PNG (Sepik / Highlands / Gulf / Lihir) carrying out seismic and geothermal drilling activities. At one stage we did a tiny bit of jerry-rigged dredging up in the Star Mountains, West of Tabubil, but didn't have enough time to do anything more than a test run.
I hope it works out well for you. Make sure you stay well sin with the landowners, as it is surprising how quickly the boundaries seem to change as soon as other groups hear of fortune (having been embroiled in several such disputes out in the middle of jungle, far from any human habitation).
Cheer,
Eoin

Hi Eoin,
greetings from Wewak !
Read your comment to the Portrait painter and like to say that you are spot on of the reality in many parts of PNG.
That's why the gold is here, only for the brave and smart operators! Finally thanks to PNG , I am able to do what I do love,
Diving for Gold for the last 30 years! Also very happy to see that my Dredges have brought prosperities to so many people in this country.
Australia should be ashamed for destroying the livelihood of people that were following in the footsteps of the Prospectors, that made Australia!
Wish you a golden 2018
Lubo Ps: Please read the book "The River of Gold "

Thank you, Lubo.
PNG is a very interesting (and challenging) place. I learnt a lot during my times there, and respect you for making a long term success out of it. PNG has a fascinating gold history, being the cradle of air freight civilisation, with the fabulous Junkers Tri-motors bringing dredges and machinery into the Bulolo region.
Cheers, and thanks for the River of Gold reference. Eoin
