Mindemoya River Dredging Scheme Wrapped Up
Manitoulin Streams Improvement Association (MSIA), with support and labor help from the municipality of Central Manitoulin, recently completed the dredging operations at the mouth of the Mindemoya River, according to the Manitoulin Expositor.
Commenting this cleanup scheme, Seija Deschenes, coordinator of MSIA, said that they had put in a work permit application to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry for approval, and sent in paper work to the municipality of Central Manitoulin for a backhoe operator and staff to undertake the dredging work.
