Impressive. Have heard a lot of stories regarding the L&M Dredging on the Shotover, including some from guys that worked on the dredge or rafted the river at the time.
Where can you find the report that is pictured. Sure that would be a good read.

G'day simon, The wash-up picture came from an L&M annual shareholders report. The other pages make for uninteresting reading as its all dollars and cents numbers. I have another report that is an interesting read which goes into technicalities about the operations on the Shotover in the 1980s. And it mentions some of the history from when The Ryan Bros built the first plants using excavators in the 1970s. I'll see if I can scan it into a PDF so I can attach it here.
