Hello to all I,m finally in the process of floatframe building .I will use 6o liter barrels because i can,t store the 120 in my van. Turns out to be the most difficult part for me ,mainly because not knowing how the sluice will sit in the water when running, thats why i don,t know yet where to weld the Frame stiffening bars without getting in the way of the adjustable parts..The bars you see crossing over the sluice are only for adjustability of sluice height and i think they will be shorter after knowing the range of adjustability i need. Many uknown factors at the moment. Cheers, emilio

6feet of drop.. was like a excavator.. ...but it was too easy.It was soft sandy material..first test hole :2 flakes flypoopsize..and this was the first of many test holes with almost nothing in it. 4 days before the end of the trip we got to a spot with a little more gold and decided to stick to the location .A big burried boulder that gave us 10 grams ..

...but time runned out before we could clean up what was under the big boulder. I have some more pics but can,t upload them because it says "file is too big" Will post later when i learned to size them.

still have to resize pics.In the meanwhile some impressions from different test locations, working also with minimum drop . www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmERNkujlhsIn the next vids location the big boulder appeared and we got some gold around him.I could not wear my wetsuit enymore because after 8days of wearing the suit for ten hours a day,i developped mastitis and also intertrigo between the legs .I had a rather silly walkstyle for more than a week.Somebody had this problems and what you recommend to prevent that? www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDMzlNGKECo and here we switched to the shorter 4 inch hose for better suction.Since the force from drop was at the minimum, when i had to bend the hose more than 45 degree i lost too much suction. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9dlwnf0Lfs cheers/emilio

Hi all preparing gear hope this will solve watervolume-problems in low drop sites. Also provides nozzletime for up to 2 additional dredgers ,though it most likely will be only one since the third of our trio has to be the sluice-tender. Regards,Emilio

hi all, cutted together the footage i made in the last trip.Crappy quality phonecam and the sound is terrible but one can see whats going on.Tried to cut out the worst italian swearings from my dredgebuddy, just let enough as salt to the soup.Hope it,s entertaining and ouf course i used the better dredgedays for the sake of appeal. Cheers Emilio www.youtube.com/watch?v=_F_l6_Z_wPY p.s. the gold at the end is not the days result but the total share i got behind that boulder and a few grams from elswhere in the same river.

this could make gravity ops possible also in flat parts of rivers without backbreaking dambuilts. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ze3pYcATYEg . Its expensive though, around 12000 dollars for a dam 1.3m high and 9 or 12meters long(can't remember) Will maybe try do one by my self for next year. And here a vid of 2017 set up with the dam that me and carlo built together. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaKWAkDyvqoNow that he's no longer with us the dam build needs a quicker solution. Emilio
