Hi Dan,i pointwelded a pvc hose as banding sleeve to the pvc spiral on the suctionhose and secured it with a bit silicone, but with a campinggaz heated knife, not ideal for the floats i think.,guess if i do it with barrels i buy a pvc welder.
Thanks for inspiration,emilio

Hey, we finally got the dredge into the water this afternoon... Just a couple of things to sort out, but will be ready for the mining season coming up... And for you guys that have been watching the post.. we have add a nugget trap in the box, and for this season we will be using the gas hot water system, as the exhaust hot water system won't be ready in time..

.Congrats ,"la Dredge" looks good.Hope everything went good also for the other new family member .Good equipment and a good motivation,a workable ground not far from home, good times! So removing of 2. stage eliminated the clogging up issue. Saluti, emilio

G'day themako,
Wow! It does not get any better (anywhere in the world) for a gold dredger than an auriferous Otago river like this. Looks like you have a fun summer ahead. Make the most of it.
Regards, Rob (RKC)
